Who can we help
The service is available to adults (18+) of any housing tenure living in the Leicestershire County Council area. Anyone can speak to the team for advice.
If you are a professional supporting a resident, with their consent you can refer them for support.
How can we help
We can help with queries such as:
- How can I reduce my home energy bills?
- How can I keep my home warm and comfortable?
- What grants are available to install energy efficiency improvements to my home?
We can support residents in lots of ways and give practical advice on:
- Measures suitable for your home
- Energy tariffs, debt and financial support
- Understanding heating controls and behavioural change
- Grants and schemes
- Support if you are experiencing a heating crisis
Eligible residents could also receive additional in person support through a home visit.
What to expect next after submitting a referral form
After submitting your details our Warm Homes team administrator will arrange for a Warm Homes support officer to contact you. We typically aim to contact residents within a two-week timeframe.
Those experiencing a heating crisis will be prioritised and contacted as soon as possible however please note we are not an emergency response offer
